Our Experience Team Lead, Joni Ruokamo, started working at Tosibox in January 2022 and is located in Finland.

How would you describe your job to a 7-year-old?
My job is to make sure that people using our products can do it easily with a smile on their face.

What is the most memorable moment for you working at Tosibox so far?
The most memorable moment for me at Tosibox must have been quite recently actually when we launched the new TosiControl (in August 2023), the next generation user experience for the Tosibox Platform, that I have been working with for the past, almost two years.

What is important to you as a colleague?
To me, it is important that the people working with me and around me can feel appreciated and empowered. I have had the privilege to work with amazing colleagues here at Tosibox. As a team lead, it is always the best part of my day when I can catch up with the team and hear about how they are doing. I truly believe that it is important to cultivate relationships with your coworkers since a caring atmosphere will improve your input and make the work a much more enjoyable experience.

What is the best part about your job/working at Tosibox?
I would say the best part about working at Tosibox is the trust the employer has for the employee.

Who would it be if you had to swap places with a colleague for one day? 
I think I would swap places with Jonna, our Group HR Manager. I have always felt I wanted to work with people, and it would be a fascinating peek into the world of managing people and the people culture at Tosibox.

Could you tell us one thing that only a few people know about you?
I used to own a Christian bookstore in the center of Oulu.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Be merciful also towards yourself, not only to others.
